Day 1 – Whale Safari & Night on the Sailing Ship

Your adventure begins with a whale safari aboard Alma af Frøya, a classic sailing vessel built for Arctic expeditions. Along the way, you'll gain insight into fascinating whale research and listen to whale communication using a hydrophone. Enjoy the crisp sea air on deck before warming up with a delicious traditional reindeer stew. After a day full of experiences, retreat to your comfortable cabin, either at sea or in port, for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2 – Puffin Safari & Stay at Arctic Ocean Lodge

After a hearty breakfast, we set sail for Bleiksøya, one of Norway’s most breathtaking seabird cliffs. Tens of thousands of puffins, sea eagles, and seabirds nest here, and sailing with the wind allows for a gentle and respectful approach.

🌊 Chance to see whales up close – This rich feeding area attracts orcas, humpbacks, and sperm whales, offering incredible wildlife encounters in their natural habitat.

🚐 After sailing, we continue by shuttle bus to Arctic Ocean Lodge, where you can relax in a sauna and hot tub. Enjoy a delicious dinner at Amundsen Bar & Restaurant before checking in to a Glass Dome or another unique accommodation option.

Day 3 – Choose Your Own Adventure & Relax at Arctic Ocean Lodge

This day is all about choosing an activity that suits your preferences:

🚣 Kayaking – Explore crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches, often spotting seals and seabirds.
🚶‍♂️ Hike to Gavltinden (661m) – Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of fjords and the open ocean.
🎣 Arctic Fishing Trip – Learn traditional fishing techniques from local experts and catch your own dinner.
🏖️ Beach Walk – Take a scenic coastal stroll, breathing in the fresh Arctic air.

The day concludes with a relaxing evening at Arctic Ocean Lodge.

Day 4 – Departure

After breakfast, you will be transported back to Andenes by shuttle bus, or you may continue your journey independently.
